: District Collector S. Harikishore inaugurated a training programmes in personality development, garment making, yoga and meditation for girls, organised by the Centre for Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development, at the Mahila Mandiram at Kozhencherry on Friday.

The training programme is part of the ‘Flagship Programme on Finishing School for Women’ of the C-STED attached to the State Science and Technology Department.

Mr. Harikishore said practicing yoga would be of great help in maintaining mental concentration as well as achieving excellence in career.

C-STED director Ajith Prabhu delivered the keynote address and the district co-ordinator D. Lakshmi Amma made the introductory speech.

Elanthoor block panchayat president Eliyamma Yohannan presided over the function.  P.V.Rajesh, C-STED programme assistant, and S. Jalaja, Social Justice Officer, also addressed the function.
