NIA offers bounty for Chennai Central train blast suspects

The four suspects in the Chennai Central blasts are ‘hardcore SIMI activists’

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a reward of Rs. 10 lakh on each of the four persons, whose role is suspected in the Chennai Central train blast case.

 Calling the accused persons - Amjad Kham, Zakir, Salik, Sheikh Mehboob “hardcore SIMI activists,” a NIA statement stated that they escaped from Khandwa Jail, Madhya Pradesh on October 1, 2013.

 Besides, Bijnaur blast case, they were involved in many heinous cases like bank robbery, murder and other cases in the Madhya Pradesh and other parts of the country.

“Their role is suspected in the Pune Bomb Blast case in August 2014, Chennai Train Bomb Blast case on May 1, 2014, Karim Nagar, Andhra Pradesh bank robbery case on February 2, 2014 and Bangalore bomb blast case during July 2014,” it said.

Any person from public, who will give any fruitful reliable information about the whereabouts of these core criminals leading to their arrest would be awarded. The identity of the informer would be kept secret, it added.
