GURGAON: Following several complaints regarding the poor state of water supply, roads, drains and parks, HUDA administrator Anita Yadav has ordered all executive engineers to hold fortnightly meetings with the RWAs in HUDA sectors to redress residents' grievances.
The officials have also been asked to submit a monthly report on the meetings.
"The problems of residents will be addressed at their doorstep by the executive engineer concerned.
The residents and RWA representatives of HUDA sectors need not come to the Sector 14 office complex for registering complaints," Yadav said.
"I have ordered all executive engineers to go to the sectors assigned to them and hold meetings with RWAs there on a fortnightly basis in the community centres to redress their grievances at the grassroots level," Yadav said.
The administrator has also directed that a monthly report by the executive engineer be submitted to the superintendent engineer, who will in turn submit the action taken report to her.
"All the officers of the engineering wing of HUDA have to follow these instructions strictly to solve the problems of residents at the initial stage so that the residents need not run around to get their grievance heard," Yadav said.
