Deepika Padukone and Jennifer Lawrence's tattoo trouble

Recently, JLaw displayed her first tattoo to the world. The tragedy is, it was misspelt. She isn’t the only star whose inking adventure went wrong.
Jennifer Lawrence: Bad chemistry
Lawrence got the world’s least rebellious tattoo when she inked the chemical formula of water on her hand. But, she got it wrong with the 2 in H2O as superscript (it should’ve been subscript).JLaw later said she “should’ve Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever”. Or maybe finished high school like regular kids, instead of two years earlier.

Deepika Padukone: Desi Depp
While filming Bachna Ae Haseeno in 2008, Padukone started dating her co-star Ranbir Kapoor. The couple was so in love, Padukone got Kapoor’s initials ‘RK’ tattooed on the nape of her neck. The couple broke up a year later amid rumours of his infidelity. DP, who shares a warm professional relationship with RK, continues to sport the tattoo albeit in a modified version.
Brad Pitt: A Jolie Muse
When Pitt’s mysterious lines tattoo was first spotted, it was speculated that it signified the downed levees that caused Hurricane Katrina or that the lines were streets of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Truth is, Angelina Jolie was so bored one day, she sketched lines on Pitt’s back. He liked the design and got it inked permanently. You cannot make this stuff up.

Hrithik Roshan: Couple of them
Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne Khan were married for 13 years. When they were together, the actor got Suzanne’s name inscribed on his wrist and the couple got identical star tattoos. Suzanne has since redesigned her star, adding the words ‘follow your sunshine’, while Hrithik plans to keep both tattoos unaltered. He might have a different take on this once he gets back in the dating game.

Rihanna: A prayer gone wrong
If you have 23 tattoos on your body, in different languages and scripts, you are bound to get one wrong. RiRi got a Sanskrit prayer from the Sanatana Dharma inked on her back. It is supposed to read “forgiveness, honesty, suppression, and control”, but her tattoo reads “long suffering, truthfulness, self-restraint, inward calm, fear and fearlessness” and is missing a part of the prayer as well. Poor RiRi, but the Bhagvad Gita does ask one to forgive and forget.

Johnny Depp: Ink and jinx
The Pirates of the Caribbean star was so smitten by his Edward Scissorhands co-star Winona Ryder that he proposed marriage. In a show of affection, he also got ‘Winona Forever’ tattooed on his right arm. They split in 1993, following which Depp altered his tattoo to ‘Wino Forever’. Nice save, but being a ‘wino’ (slang for someone who drinks a lot of wine) isn’t something to brag about.
