Curtin to hold open house events

MIRI: Curtin University Sarawak will hold open house events here and in Kota Kinabalu tomorrow (July 25).

The event here will be at the Melinau Room, Level 1, Imperial Palace Hotel from 12.30pm to 4.30pm.

There will be course counselling and career and personality tests, as well as knowledge sharing sessions with academic staff from the Faculty of Business and Humanities and Faculty of Engineering and Science.

Potential students and their parents will have the opportunity to learn about National Higher Education Fund Corporation financial aid and attend the talk ‘Knowing You and Knowing Me’ by certified life coach Jasly Kong.

Complimentary Aidilfitri themed buffets will be served and the first 30 attendees will stand a chance to win attractive lucky draw prizes.

In Kota Kinabalu, the open house will be at Kimanis Ballroom 1, Street Level, Hyatt Regency Kinabalu Hotel from 1pm to 5pm.

Curtin Sarawak’s August intake is in progress and students can apply to join foundation or undergraduate programmes.

Orientation Week for the degree programmes will start on Tuesday (July 28), while on Aug 11 and Sept 1, it will be for foundation and postgraduate programmes respectively.
