Algal bloom monitoring July 23, 2015: Amount of cyanobacteria has not increased

In the lakes, cyanobacteria are still reported less than usually in late July. In the Finnish sea areas only some cyanobacteria have been observed. In the open sea areas of the northern Baltic Proper, quite high amounts of cyanobacteria were observed as mixed in the water, but surface accumulations were not observed.
