When a fashion event invite comes with a time that suggests late afternoon, will anyone refuse being present. So, on Wednesday when a few city designers decided to give a sneak peek into what is in store for Winter/Festive 2015 as a curated curtain raiser in Hyderabad, the well dressed ladies and fashionistas made it to the venue on time. The show is in celebration of the 15 year milestone of Lakmé Fashion Week in India.

The collection for the forthcoming season which was showcased included designers like, Anushree Reddy, Gaurang Shah and Divya Reddy. Also showcasing her work in Hyderabad was Neeta Lulla.

“This year my collection is dedicated to the bride. It is a Winter/Festive bridal collection in synergy with their upcoming looks for the season for the brand. I’m really excited and looking forward to a cutting edge show,” said designer Neeta Lulla .

A dull and sultry evening was high in spirits as everyone waited to see the designers present their muse at N-District.

Designers Anushree’s collection was presented by Reha Sukheja and Rashi Khanna, Gaurang Shah came with Sandhya Raju and Divya Reddy came with Poonam Kaur.

Designer, Anushree Reddy said, “The idea was to craft clothes that are easy to wear.”

Gaurang showcased a unique dimension of Indian heritage and art through jamdani handwoven creations. “This year I present a collection of heirloom weaves from the looms of Paithan, Kanchipuram, Benaras, Uppada, Kota and Patan that reflect the romance and chivalry from the folklore of medieval India,” said Gaurang.
