HYDERABAD: Seventy-two-year-old Koduri Ventaka Vijayendra Prasad is sitting at his home at Manikonda near Hi-Tec City and quietly savouring the success of two of the year’s biggest films which have together collected more than Rs 450 crore. Prasad, who has penned the stories of both Salman Khan-starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Bahubali, however, has one unfulfilled desire - he wants to visit Pakistan.

Like the lead character played by Salman Khan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan - who crosses over illegally into Pakistan to take a little girl back to her parents - Prasad too wants to enter Pakistan (but legally). "If only someone can invite me to Pakistan, I want to visit that country,” Prasad told TOI on Wednesday. “Nothing has gone drastically wrong in the relationship between India and Pakistan at the moment. That’s why the film has been received so well. The film can build bridges. But it is easy for interested parties to spoil the relationship -- and that should not be allowed to happen," he added.
