Police are investigating a suspicious house fire in Rockingham.
A police spokeswoman said the arson squad was at the scene and a person was assisting police with inquiries.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said firefighters had managed to put out the blaze which started just before 1pm.
She said the house had already received a significant amount of damage but no one was injured in the fire.
"One person was inside when the fire started but he is safe and well," she said.
