U.S. Olympian Jill Camarena-Williams of Tucson was second in shot put Wednesday at the Pan American Games in Toronto.

Camarena-Williams threw 61 feet, 2 1/4 inches for the silver medal behind Cleopatra Borel of Trinidad and Tobago (61-3). Canada's Julie Labonte, who competed in college at Arizona, was 11th.

In men's 400-meter hurdles, American Jeshua Anderson of World Athletics Center in Phoenix was the fastest semifinalist in 49.73 seconds

In racquetball, Rhonda Rajsich of Phoenix won again over fellow American Michelle Key to advance into the women's singles quarterfinals. Jake Bredenbeck of Chandler lost to Canadian Coby Iwaasa in the men's singles round of 16.
