BHCOPAL: Madhya Pradesh assembly on Wednesday not only witnessed unruly scenes, but also disrespectful attitude by members. As soon as members gathered in the house for the third day of monsoon session, four BSP members, including two women legislators, sporting blue aprons trooped into the well demanding resignation of chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan over Vyapam scam. They were joined by Congress members.

Amid the din, Speaker Sitasharan Sharma tried to start Question Hour, asking BJP member from Bhind, Narendra Singh Kushwaha, to speak. But, Kushwaha got upset when BSP members kept shouting slogans. After a while, an angry Kushwaha left his seat and began walking towards the well. He was seen pointing at his footwear which irked BSP and Congress members. Members charged him with showing chappal and created furore in the House, stating the act was unbecoming of a member.
During the melee, state parliamentary affairs minister Narottam Mishra intervened and Kushwaha returned to his seat. BSP members Satyaprakash Sakhwar, Sheela Tyagi, Usha Choudhary and Balveer Singh Dandotia remained in the well and refused to relent despite the Speaker requesting them to get back to their seats. BSP MLA Sheela Tyagi alleged Kushwaha deliberately showed his chappal and insulted her in the house, which showed his party's stance towards women. She demanded of the Speaker to take a note of this and contemplate serious action against Kushwaha.
Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Satyadev Katare condemned BJP member Kushwaha's act. He said BJP can got to any extent to shield chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Refuting charges, BJP MLA Kushwaha stated he was wrongly blamed for insulting the members. He said BSP members were disrupting proceedings. When he opposed they slapped false allegations on him. Speaker Sitasharan Sharma said the matter will be probed and action will be taken if any member found guilty. He also charged Opposition parties with creating unruly scene in the Assembly.
