Hundreds of candidates thronged the Dindigul GH to buy applications for diploma in nursing and midwifery courses here on Wednesday.
The Department of Health Services had received 1,000 applications for distribution. Candidates from different parts of the district came to Dindigul GH to buy the applications. A separate room in the office of the Joint Director of Health Services was allotted to sell applications.
Government nursing colleges have been functioning in 23 places in the State. A total of 2,000 candidates will be admitted in these institutions. In Theni, College dean Kadhirkamu inaugurated the sale of forms to candidates in the college.
