1,100 saplings planted at ITBP campus

AMRITSAR: Lions Club Amritsar Golden Temple in collaboration with the 52 Batallion of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) planted 1,100 trees on the latter’s campus here today.

Lions Club Amritsar Golden Temple in collaboration with the 52 Batallion of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) planted 1,100 trees on the latter’s campus here today. Speaking on the occasion, district governor of Lions Club, Iqbal Singh Luthra, said , “Our great gurus have always stressed upon maintaining the eco-friendly atmosphere.”Jagmohan Singh Dua presented a vote of thanks on the occasion. Hardeep Singh Kharka, Gurpal Singh Matharoo, SS Samra, Narinder Singh, RP Seth, SS Narula, Vinod were also present among others during the plantation drive. — TNS
