Liquor factory unearthed in Chautala

SIRSA: On a tip off, a team comprising personnel from Dabwali Sadar Police Station, CIA and the Excise and Taxation Department today raided a house where it unearthed a factory manufacturing wine.

On a tip off, a team comprising personnel from Dabwali Sadar Police Station, CIA and the Excise and Taxation Department today raided a house where it unearthed a factory manufacturing wine.

No one was present in the house when the raid was conducted.

SP Ashwin Shenvi informed the media that they recovered four drums filled with spirit, 20 empty drums of spirit, a packing machine, polythene packs, a large number of empty bottles, bottle caps, flappers of English wine and cardboard cartons,” he said.

Efforts were afoot to ascertain the identity of owner of the house so that they could be arrested.
