On the instructions of District Collector, Chief Education Officer R. Murugan sealed a nursery school functioning alongside Tirupur-Dharapuram road.
Mr. Murugan said that the school was found functioning near an industrial unit and hence, sealed.
The school was among the 19 primary and nursery schools, against which the District Collector had issued closure order in May for operating without proper recognition.
But on that issue, the schools could not be closed as the owners moved the court against the order, Education department officials said.
