Fort munro: 20 injured as bus falls into ravine

Many of the injured had left for Kot Mitthan after receiving first aid

At least 20 people were injured when a bus carrying 45 passengers fell into a ravine in Khar on Tuesday.


The victims, residents of Kot Mitthan, had gone visiting the Fort Munro resort when their bus fell into the ravine near the Fort Munro Development Authority’s office, located between the resort and Khar.

Rescue 1122, Border Military Police (BMP) and the Baloch Levies rescued the passengers and took them to a hospital. Two of the injured were in critical condition.

BMP Commandant Shahid Mehboob said the swift rescue operation had helped save the passengers. He said many of the injured had left for Kot Mitthan after receiving first aid.
