A motorcyclist was taken to hospital Tuesday afternoon after his vehicle hit a tree in a rural part of Woolwich Township.
The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Middlebrook Road, just north of West Montrose.
According to Waterloo Regional Police, the motorcycle left the road and entered a ditch, then struck a small tree.
The driver was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
An air ambulance was initially called to the scene, but later cancelled.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
