Karnal MC office to get wi-fi soon

KARNAL: The Karnal Municipal Corporation (MC) will soon launch the wi-fi facility in several areas of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s segment.

The Karnal Municipal Corporation (MC) will soon launch the wi-fi facility in several areas of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s segment.

Initially, the facility will be launched on the MC office premises and later will be extended to other parts of the city. If the project is successfully implemented, Karnal will be the first city in the state to have the facility. MC Commissioner Sumedha Kataria said they had already leased a BSNL network line at Rs 30 lakh per annum for providing the wi-fi facility to the people visiting MC office and.

The facility will be launched soon. We are planning to extend it to various shopping areas and commercial sites of the city as well, he said.— TNS
