Gujarat Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki today addressing a press conference in Ahmedabad at party headquarters said the extended meeting of party’s state executive will be held at Vadodara on July 25 under the title of ‘Navsarjan Gujarat’ to discuss various issues pertaining to the present situation of Gujarat. The meeting will be participated by over 600 invited party men from across the state.

The meeting will be attended by part president Sonia Gandhi’s political secretary Ahmed Patel among others. It will be held at Aranya farm on Sevasi-Gotri road.

He said Congress party will hold Guru pujan functions on upcoming Gurupoornima festival to worship and felicitate the saints and gurus of all religions through district units of party.

He said Congress would not join state govt organized functions to felicitate former office bearers of district panchayats.
