Yuva Vikas Morcha chief dies in Dumka road mishap

DHANBAD: The Giridih district president (town) of Jharkhand Yuva Vikas Morcha, Neeraj Chowdhury, died in a road accident near Jama locality under Dumka district on Sunday evening.
The accident took place around 9 pm when Chowdhury, along with his family members, were returning from Tarapith in West Bengal. Their vehicle collided with a culvert and fell into a nearby ditch. He was rushed to Durgapur Missionary Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Confirming the death, JVM (P)'s Giridih president said, "Chowdhury and his relatives were returning from Tarapith where they had gone to offer prayers when the accident occurred. At Jama locality of Dumka, the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with the culvert before falling into a nearby ditch".
