INDORE: Indian Institute of Technology Indore has denied extension to chief engineer SP Raghunath, who was monitoring construction works of the institute’s campus in Simrol.
An email was shot to all IIT employees stating that services of Raghunath have been “terminated” with immediate effect and his entry into the campus has been banned.
The employees were directed to not keep any contact with him and share any information related to the institute.

IIT-Indore, media coordinator, Nirmala Menon said that Raghunath’s contract term got over so he was relieved from the services. She rubbished the talk that he was terminated. “His contract of two years got over on July 10, so he was relieved,” she said.
