Delhi-based smuggler brought to Kadapa

Red sanders smuggler Tinku Sharma alias Pintu (38), who was arrested in New Delhi on July 16, was brought to Kadapa on Monday. The Kadapa police produced Pintu before the court which remanded him to judicial custody.

According to police, Tinku Sharma is involved in three cases registered in Kadapa district. He was arrested in the national capital during a 20-day inter-State operation led by Additional Superintendent of Police (Pulivendula) K.K.N. Anbhurajan. The operation was planned following the information obtained from some of the Kadapa-based smugglers arrested early in June.

Based on the same inputs, a police team from Kadapa nabbed another smuggler Jaipal in Haryana a few days ago, he was remanded by the Railway Kodur court.
