The Magnificent Seven selections for Beverley

CHELTENHAM, UNITED KINGDOM - MARCH 11: A punter celebrates Silk Affair riden by T.J.O'Brien win in The Fred Winter Juvenile Novices Handicap Hurdle Racedu

Three days in to the Magnificent Seven tipping challenge, it's looking ever bleaker for the charities being supported.

Seven racing personalities are given £50 each day to bet on any race during the Go Racing in Yorkshire Racing Summer Festival, with any profits shared equally between three charities - New Beginnings, the Injured Jockeys Fund and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Unfortunately, things have gone from bad (one winner) on Sunday to worse on Monday, with absolutely none of the super septet managing to find a single winner. Even Richard Fahey's attempt to convert a cheap penalty by placing the ball on the goal-line failed when White Bullet was turned over at 1/8 in the juvenile fillies' maiden.

Therefore going in to the fourth day of action at Wetherby, only Michael Shinners has produced any sort of a return, his £175 pot making him stand proud ahead of his rivals. The 'standings', should you need to be reminded them, can be found here. You can also place your bets on the competition with Sky Bet here.
