New Delhi: Rains lashed Delhi on Monday affecting normal life with waterlogging and traffic jam being reported from several parts of the state.
Commuters faced severe traffic jam in several areas including South Extension, Dwarka, Noida and Badarpur where huge pile-up of cars were seen.
Even people travelling to Adchini faced severe difficulties due to waterlogging and potholes.
Delhi Traffic Police alerted the commuters on their official Facebook page asking them to avoid travelling from Zakhira roundabout towards Moti Nagar due to waterlogging.

The national capital received heavy rain on Monday morning and the minimum temperature recorded was 24.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
The city has received 215.6 mm of rainfall since July 1.
The Met Office has forecast light rain during the course of the day and said the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.
"The sky will be generally cloudy. Rain along with thunderstorms would occur in some areas," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 95 percent.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled slightly below the season's average at 26 degrees Celsius.
