Ten terraced apartments in Husuaho, Saarijärvi were evacuated on Sunday following the leakage of a tank containing liquid oxygen.
A 45 kilogram tank in one apartment began to leak calling the rescue department into action in evacuating around 30 people from the apartments. A 25 metre radius was also set to cut off the area.
Rescue department workers took the leaking tank out of the apartment and fanned the interior of the apartment.
Oxygen concentrations inside the apartments was measured and the residents were allowed back approximately 30 minutes later.
