‘You don’t hit a woman!’: Rock star stops concert to kick out man allegedly picking fight at US show

The front man of US band 3 Doors Down has been praised after kicking a man out of a show for allegedly hitting a woman.
The band was in the middle of performing a song at their show in Broomfield, Colorado on Tuesday when lead singer Brad Arnold cut the song short.
Calling out for his band to stop playing Arnold pointed out at someone in the audience.
“Hey, hey, homie, you don’t hit a woman,” he said.
“You just pushed a woman out of the way to get in a fight.
“Get him the hell out of here.”
Arnold called for security as the crowd cheered him and booed the perpetrator.
Chris Henderson, the band’s lead guitarist, later told CNN while concerts always got rowdy it was insulting when people attended a show just to fight.
He said the man Arnold had evicted was attempting to fight with another concert-goer, despite a woman being caught between them.
“The fact that she was there wasn’t going to stop him from killing everything in his way,” he said.
Security removed the man immediately.
According to Henderson, Arnold apologised to the crowd for the language he used in the encounter.
A member of the band’s management team, JP Durant, said it was unlike the singer to swear on stage.
“It was a shock because Brad cussing from stage, he doesn’t do that,” he said.
“He’s got the biggest heart and he knows there’s family in the crowd.”
Fans did not seem bothered by Arnold’s language, however, with many taking to Twitter to show support for his decision.
