Top seed Sara Errani is through to the final of the Bucharest Open after beating home hope Monica Niculescu 5-7 6-1 6-2 on Saturday.
She will face Anna Karolina Schmiedlova on Sunday after the seventh seed defeated unseeded Polona Hercog of Slovenia 6-4 6-3 in 35-degree (95 F) heat in Romania.
The duo will be meeting in their second final of the year, Errani having beaten the Slovak in straight sets in the Rio de Janeiro final back in February.
That was an eighth career title for the Italian while Schmiedlova went on to claim her first in Katowice in April.
Errani was on court for an hour longer than her final opponent on Saturday but she managed to save 11 of 15 break points and took charge after losing a tight first set.
