The 15th Graduation Day of Thiruthangal Nadar College, Chennai, was held on July 4 at Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Arangam. Dr. H. Devaraj D.Sc., vice-chairman, University Grants Commission, New Delhi, conferred the degrees on 463 graduates and delivered the graduation day address, in the presence of A. Mariappan B.E., M.I.E., president of the college.
S. K. A. Savarimalaiyan, secretary and correspondent; K. Murugavel, treasurer; S. M. Subbiah, president, Chennaivazh Thiruthangal Hindu Nadar Uravinmurai Dharma Fund; A. D. Subbiah, president, Thiruthangal Nadar Vidhyalaya; S.Murugesan, principal of the college; Dr. K. C. Lalithambika, and professor S. Asaithambi, vice-principals, faculty and parents were present on the occasion.
