After permission from Indian Coast Guard(ICG), 10 boats stuck in Arabian sea off Gujarat coast reached Jafrabad jetty of Ultratech cement company near Diu.
ICG, Marine police, fisheries department and other agencies questioned 69 Chinese people aboard and conducted thorough check. There was some problem during this procedure, as almost all Chinese fishermen were not knowing English. Agencies therefore called a translator from Jamnagar.
The boats were needing fuel, as they were stuck in sea for some time. Accordingly they were supplied fuel.
It should be mentioned here that this is the second such incident in recent time. Chinese crew members claim they were on way to Pakistan and Iran, but stuck off Gujarat coast.
