WUXI, China -- Yakult Honsha began producing its namesake fermented milk beverage at a new factory here Friday, aiming to meet growing Chinese demand for the health drink.
The plant is the Japanese company's fifth in mainland China. It complements two factories in Guangzhou and one each in Shanghai and Tianjin.
