Miscreants fire shots at the office of Aam Admi Party MLA from Najafgarh

NEW DELHI: Miscreants fired shots at the office of Aam Admi Party MLA from Najafgarh, Kailash Gehlot on Thursday night. Though no one was injured in the incident, police have registered a case against unknown persons.
Gehlot informed the police about the incident when he reached his office at the Najafgarh village on Friday afternoon. Police that 8-9 empty cartridges were recovered from the spot.
Senior police officials said that the shots were fired at a glass pane and at the door. They said that Gehlot did not register a complaint and claimed that he did not suspect anyone in this incident, a probe has been initiated.
A case under sections of the Arms Act has been registered. Police have also recovered the CCTV footages from the area and are analysing them to identify the miscreants.
