A mega pattaya mela will be held at the Government High School, Vazhaghoppe, on August 22. At least 25,000 title deeds will be distributed at the mela. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the function at 11 a.m.
There will be additional staff deployed in the revenue and survey departments to facilitate work related to the title deed distribution. There will be 86 staffers, including head surveyors and surveyors, and 21 revenue inspectors were deployed in the district earlier. An additional 20 staffers will be deployed soon, said District Collector V. Ratheesan.
