Another Tulu film set for release
The Tulu film industry is on a high these days. For an industry that had just 56 releases in the last 44 years, the industry is witnessing steady growth in the last two-three years. In 2014, there were seven releases, of which three completed 100 days.
This year so far about four films have been released and all the four have completed 50 days. Now, Super Marmaye, another comedy film, is all set for release in the second week of August.The film is directed Ram Shetty, who has worked in more than 700 Hindi Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu and Tamil feature films. Shetty has also experimented with Tulu in the past. In 2012, he produced Bangarda Kural and in 1982 and 1983 had produced Badkere Budle and Dareda Seere.
Stars from the Tulu industry, including Meenanatha Raghavendra Rai, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraja Vamanjoor, Aravinda Bolar, will be seen in Super Marmaye. Shradda Salian from Hindi mini-screen will play the second heroine while Divyashree, who played the lead role in Chali Polilu will also be seen in the flick.
