Traffic restrictions imposed for Eid prayers

In connection with Eid-ul-Fitr (Ramzan) prayers at the Eidgah Mir Alam Tank and the Secunderabad Eidgah, one-way traffic regulation will be enforced on some roads between 8 am and 11.30 am on Saturday/Sunday (the day of the festival).

HYDERABAD: In connection with Eid-ul-Fitr (Ramzan) prayers at the Eidgah Mir Alam Tank and the Secunderabad Eidgah, one-way traffic regulation will be enforced on some roads between 8 am and 11.30 am on Saturday/Sunday (the day of the festival).
Vehicles proceeding towards the Eidgah Mir Alam Tank would be allowed via Puranapul, Kamatipura, Kishanbagh and Bahadurpura X Roads between 8.00 am and 11.30 am.
During this period, general traffic would not be allowed to proceed towards Idgah from Bahadurpura X Roads and will be diverted towards Kishanbagh or Kamatipura.
Cycle-rickshaws and cycles would not be allowed to proceed to the Eidgah from Eidgah crossroads. Cycles and rickshaws should be parked near the open space, where stands were being provided.
All vehicular traffic from Shivrampally, NPA, heading towards Eidgah for prayers would be allowed and general traffic proceeding towards Bahadurpura X Roads will be diverted at Danamma Huts ‘T’ Junction towards Aliabad via Ansari Road, Jahanuma, Boys Town School etc.
Immediately, after the prayers, all fast-moving vehicles from Puranapul proceeding towards Eidgah would be diverted towards City College road till the entire congregation disperses.
At Secunderabad Eidgah, all vehicular traffic from Brooke Bond Centre and CTO X Roads would be diverted at Eidgah X Roads towards Tadbun.
