It has not been often this season when Parkes Boars have headed into a match as favorites, but that will be the case when they head to Bathurst tomorrow to take on 2015 strugglers CSU.

The Boars have endured a tough Blowes Clothing Cup season so far, but will be hopeful of adding to their three competition wins with a victory over the Students.
The Boars enjoyed their second win on the trot when the two teams met in Round 4 at Northparkes Oval.
They will be desperate for a good result after three big defeats on the trot against competition heavyweights Orange City, Bathurst and Orange Emus.
The Students have had a season to forget with just the one victory and suffered a 48-0 loss to Mudgee Wombats last weekend.
They will be very keen to reverse the 27-25 loss from Round 4 and will likely prove a tougher test on their home ground tomorrow.
The Boars’ chances may well rest with how many players they produce for the road trip, something that has plagued the Parkes side this season.
Last week in Orange, a number of lower grade players were required to make up the numbers, culminating in a 60-10 loss.
On their day and with the majority of their first 15 players available, the Boars can compete with any side in the competition.
They will be hoping to have a strong squad available for tomorrow’s clash and come away with a win.
