Ladies and gentlemen, there’s a bit of a shake-up in the world of luxury. Kering has announced that Cartier’s Hélène Poulit-Duquesne has been appointed as CEO of Boucheron, effective September 28.

The multitalented Poulit-Duquesne began her career at LVMH and joined Cartier International in 1998, becoming director of International Business and Client Development and a member of the executive committee in 2014.

After she takes on her new role at Boucheron, replacing Pierre Bouissou, her boss will be Albert Bensoussan, CEO of Kering “Luxury – Watches and Jewellery” division.

Bensoussan says he is confident that Poulit-Duquesne’s expertise in international development, along with her extensive knowledge of the jewellery and watchmaking industries, will greatly benefit Boucheron in its international reach.

Poulit-Duquesne will take up the challenge of developing  the brand on an international scale and reinforcing its position among the most prestigious high jewellery houses worldwide.
