Peter Andre denied being a liar while giving evidence at the High Court today.

He was being quizzed by Max Mallin, counsel for his former producer Neville Hendricks, who told him: "You change your evidence to suit the circumstances. Your evidence is entirely false."

But the 42-year-old singer denied the accusation about when he saw documents and how he felt about the situation.

He retorted: "I appreciate you say I am lying."

The star was completing his evidence for ITV in their contract row with Mr Hendricks, before dashing off to perform in concert.

The judge, Justice Flaux, said he was not aware that Pete was performing that evening, telling the court: "I thought he wanted to get on with his honeymoon."

Pete tied the knot with 25-year-old Emily MacDonagh on Saturday and said if he had sold more than two tickets for his concert I would be very happy.

He was all smiles when he finished his evidence and left court to prepare for the concert at Rochester Castle and said: "I'm told it is sold out."

Earlier on today he told the court he was frightened after seeing tweets sent by his former producer.

The former Im a Celebrity contestant appeared at the High Court today giving evidence in a case involving ITV2 and his shows former producer Neville Hendricks.

Hendricks is suing the channel for £549,060 damages and costs after it stopped him producing reality shows involving Peter Andre and Kerry Katona.

Details of the tweets were not made public in court today and Mr Hendricks denies sending them.

The hearing continues.
