Remove Pakistani players: Shiv Sena threatens Star Sports

After the Maharashra Navnirman Sena stopped the screening of the Pakistani movie, 'Bin Roye' in Maharashtra it is now the turn of the Shiv Sena to enter in to the fray. The Shiv Sena has now 'threatened' Star Sports saying that it won't allow the matches to be played in the state unless Pakistani players who are participating in the tournament are not picked.
The Pro- Kabaddi league is being aired by sports channels Star Sports from July 18th. Shiv Sena leader Ashish Chemburkar on Thursday confirmed that they had 'warned' Star Sports that it won't allow the matches to be played in the state unless the Pakistani kabaddi players are excluded from the tournament.

" Yes we have told Star Sports clearly that we won't allow the tournament to go ahead unless the Pakistani players are excluded from the tournament. While our jawans are being killed by the Pakistanis how can we allow Pakistanis to allow and play like this."questioned Chemburkar.

Chemburkar said that the Star Sports management had told the Sena that the Pakistani players were not contracted by any Mumbai franchisee and hence there should not be any objection to the Pakistani players being included in the tournament. " They told us that the Bengal team has included two Pakistani players and hence we shouldn't have an issue. We have clearly told them that we don't care which team has picked the Pakistani players, we will not allow them to play."said Chemburkar.

The Sena Vibhag Pramukh said that they have warned the Star Sports of a 'Sena style protest' but said that they would wait till July 18th to see what action the channel takes.
