Oppo Joy 3 Android Smartphone Launched At 7,990


BENGALURU: OPPO has been known to launch its Smartphones in the mid-range price segment, however, with the launch of its new Joy 3, it can be said that the company has shifted its focus to the entry-level segment Smartphones in India, reports BGR India.

The new Smartphone from Oppo comes with a 4.5-inch display along with dual SIM capability and a long lasting 2000mAh battery that can easily make the phone last at least an entire day on average usage, providing 180 hours of backup on standby.

Oppo Mobiles India CEO, Tom Lu, said that they are planning to launch various models for the entry-level segment customers in India. Joy 3 is one such device that features 4GB internal memory, expandable to 32GB via microSD card.

On the software front, the new phone runs a forked version of Android 4.4 Kitkat, known as ColorOS 2.0. The OS comes with certain additional functionality. Joy 3 sports 5-megapixels rear camera and 2-megapixels front facing camera, but, the camera guarantees superior quality images.

In addition to its specification, Joy 3 comes with screen-off gestures that can wake up the device, play music, launch camera, and start flashlight. Available in grey color exclusively at Oppo stores, the new Joy 3 comes with a price tag of 7,990.
