Hyundai's Nalin Kapoor joins CarDekho.com

He has joined the company as COO, new car business.

CarDekho.com has appointed Nalin Kapoor, formerly senior general manager and group head, Hyundai Motors India, as its COO for new car business.

Commenting on this development, Amit Jain, CEO, CarDekho.com, says, "We are very excited to have Nalin on board. He has unmatched expertise and experience in the automotive industry through his various stints at Hyundai, Honda, Ford and Yamaha. Kapoor has 24 years of experience in sales and marketing, strategic planning and business development. Prior to Hyundai, he has worked with automobile majors like Ford, Honda and Yamaha Motors.

CarDekho.com is the flagship portal of Girnar Software founded in March 2008. It connects aspiring buyers, owners, auto enthusiasts and dealers of cars across the country. It claims to have been drawing close to 17 million visits per month, with 10 million unique visitors per month. The company recently acquired Gaadi.com and Buying IQ, a comparative shopping portal.
