A mink producers group says it's fattening a reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people breaking into southern Ontario farms and releasing mink.
The Canada Mink Breeders Association posted a $75,000 reward after a St. Marys-area farm was targeted on May 31.
The group says that reward has been boosted to $100,000 after 6,000 young mink were released from a second farm in the same region last week.
The owner of that farm is the mink breeders group's president Kirk Rankin, who believes those responsible to be anti-fur extremists.
