Meanwhile, in barely three days of its release worldwide, Telugu film Bahubali has become the first Tollywood film to join the list of Indian films grossing more than Rs 100 crore.

The Prabhas starrer has garnered a net collection of Rs. 165 crore (including all versions) in just three days. Trade pundits say the film’s performance has been better than some recent Bollywood blockbusters. In the US market, the movie beat Amir Khan’s PK in collections on its first day. While PK collected in around 0.97 million dollars, Bahubali raked in around 1.3 million dollars. Trade pundits say Bahubali may surpass the collections toted up by Rajinikanth’s Enthiran (Rs 283 crore), Sankar’s I (Rs 225 crore) and Kamal Haasan’s Viswaroopam (Rs 220 crore).
