Merivale has snared another chef from the international Hakkasan restaurant group. Hakkasan Dubai head dim sum chef Michael Luo joins Mr Wong this week.

Another Merivale chef, Eric Koh, moved to Merivale from Hakkasan in London, which nabbed a Michelin star in 2003. Koh has been working at Mr Wong but will shift to the newly acquired Queen Victoria when the Enmore venue relaunches later this year.
