Sharmila Tagore

Sharmila Tagore managed to be successful early in her life. Before making a shift to full fledged Hindi movies, she had already attracted limelight after acting in some Bengali classics. A typical Bollywood actress, she was complimented really well by Rajesh Khanna in all their romantic films together. In 1999, it was Aamir Khan starrer Mann where fans were delighted to see her again. Last she was seen in Break Ke Baad as Deepika Padukone's mother.

3. Rati Agnihotri

Rati Agnihotri

Her first Hindi film, Ek Duje Ke Liye marked Rati's grand Bollywood entry. Rati was already a star in the South before she started doing Hindi films. Her comeback after almost two decades was a happy one for the audiences. Her role in Kunal Kohli's Hum Tum as Saif Ali Khan's mother and Rishi Kapoor's wife was certainly a delight. She has been on and off films since then and also did a couple of TV shows in between.

4. Waheeda Rahman

Waheeda Rehman

Her comeback in Bollywood included films like Rang De Basanti and Delhi-6 and both these films have proved that Bollywood definitely needed this comeback! She lived up to the "Aaj phir jeene ki tamanna hai" as age was never a factor for her to not come back to films.

5. Dharmendra

Dharmendra

Not many know that in the mid-seventies, Dharmendra was also voted as one of the most handsome men in the world. Nothing has changed much even as he become a grand-father in real life. Be it Life in a Metro, Yamla Pagla Deewana or Apne, he managed to hit the right chords with the audience yet again. Though most of his comebacks have been with his son-duo Bobby and Sunny, his grace and charm was unparalleled.

6. Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh

We really need no description for this Shehenshaah! Do we? If you are a true Amitabh Fan, Piku would have answered all the questions about Big B! He has had a few hit and misses, but we are glad that even after his success of old days, he still manages to add a different grace to his films, decades later.

Farooq Sheikh

The journey that began with films like Garam Hawa in 1973 saw a positive jump with Chashme Buddoor in 1981 and there was no looking back for Farooq Sheikh. Officially his last film was Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani where he played the role of Bunny's (Ranbir Kapoor) dad. He managed to grab a lot of positive attention for his charm as an on-screen father. NS

His evolution from a stage artist from the small town of Barabanki, to one of the finest actors of Hindi Cinema is splendid. He has three national awards in his kitty and no we aren't even counting the number of other awards he has been receiving time and again. From late 1970's till today, his roles have been diverse and completely different from each other. Who could have ever thought that an aged actor could have romanced Vidya Balan without looking out of sorts? But he pulled it off the character well, and surprised all his fans.
