Iranian foreign minister on Sunday said there would be still work to do on Monday on a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue, but no extension of the talks.

From the balcony of Palais Coburg hotel in Vienna, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told reporters that there is still work to do on Monday, hinting that there might be no deal on Sunday, adding that there would be "no extension" of the negotiations. (Iran-Nuclear Talks)

WASHINGTON -- U.S. and partner-nation military forces carried out 16 more airstrikes against the Islamic State (IS) forces in Syria and Iraq over the weekend, U.S. Department of Defense said Sunday.

The airstrikes in Aleppo, Hasakah, Raqqah and Kobani, all in Syria, destroyed IS targets including seven tactical units, three vehicles, eight fighting positions, three motorcycles, five staging areas, two excavators and a bunker, said the DOD in a statement. (US-IS-Drone Strike)

KHOST, Afghanistan -- About 20 Afghan civilians were killed while several others injured after a suicide car bomb struck near a foreign military base in Khost city, the capital of eastern Khost province on Sunday, an official said.

CAIRO -- Egyptian movie stars, officials and media professionals attended on Sunday the funeral of Egyptian and international legendary movie star Omar Sharif who died in Cairo Friday afternoon of a heart attack at the age of 83.
