District Congress committee president, Nahan, Ajay Solanki, today said Nahan MLA-cum-former Health Minister Rajeev Bindal was trying to grab media attention by misleading people on the issue of de-notification of the ESIC dispensary at Rampur Bharapur near Paonta Sahib.

In a press conference, he said the Chief Minister, in a public meeting held on Saturday, announced to de-notify the ESIC dispensary much before Bindal’s protest.

He said Bindal was present at the meeting and on hearing the announcement made by the Chief Minister for de-notifying the ESIC dispensary to Primary Health Centre (PHC), Bindal rushed to Rampur Bharapur with his supporters to protest and take the credit.

“This is an act of grabbing media attention. I am amazed that Bindal can stoop to such a level for his political survival. The truth is that there is no official schedule of inauguration of the PHC,” he said.

He said Bindal should seek apology from the people for lying that the ESIC was de-notified due to his initiative. Despite heavy rain throughout the day, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones of various projects and also inaugurated development projects.
