PATNA: The station house officer (SHO) of Rajivnagar police station here, Sindhu Sekhar, was transferred on Saturday following reports of his alleged nexus with local land mafia in land grabbing racket.
The SHO was transferred immediately after the central range DIG Shalin got a report from the special branch that Sindhu Sekhar was involved in land deals taking place in the Rajivnagar area.
“I have transferred the inspector to Nalanda and he has been asked to join there at the earliest. Patna SSP Vikas Vaibhav will personally inquire into the report and if the allegations are found true, we will lodge a case against him. But for fair investigation, the officer has been shifted to Nalanda immediately,” said Shalin.
A few days back, Deedarganj police station SHO Mukhlal Paswan was suspended and departmental proceedings initiated against him as he was found associated with a land mafia which illegally grabbed land.
