27 stolen laptops recovered by police within 24 hours

Police recovered the stolen property worth Rs 10 lakh with in twenty four hours and arrested the burglar from Summer Capital Srinagar on Saturday. Station House Officer Maisuma Mehrajuddin Raina told CNS that a Rajbagh resident, Mudasir Amin Dar had reported to police that thieves had stolen 27 laptops worth Rs 10 lakhs from his electronic shop located at Court Road Srinagar.An FIR vide number 24/2015 under section 380, 457 of RPC was registered and number of suspects were questioned. During questioning, a suspect Yasin Rather son of Salam Rather of Chanapora Srinagar confessed his crime and accordingly police recovered the stolen laptops from Qamarwari area,” he said adding that the case was cracked under the supervision of SDPO Kothibagh Fahad Tak.
