Plaistow police are looking for help identifying a young man who was hit by a car and seriously injured Thursday night.Images: Items with the man Police said the man was walking on Route 125 at Main Street when he was hit at about 9:30 p.m.He was transported to Lawrence General Hospital and then moved to a Boston hospital. His injuries are classified as serious, according to police.Police said the man didn't have any identification on him and his cell phone was badly damaged.The man is described as white, between 16 and 20 years old with brown hair and dental braces. He was wearing a Hollister T-shirt with tan shorts, police said.He was wearing black sized 9.5 Nike sneakers with white soles. He was also carrying a black Nike backpack with teal-colored trim.Police said it looks like the driver had a green light, and drugs and alcohol have been ruled out as contributing factors, although whether the driver was speeding is still under investigation.The driver of the car is cooperating with police and the car will be impounded, according to investigators.
