Child artiste Harshita ‘Veera’ Ojha to play Kiku Sharda’s dadi

Seven-year-old Harshita Ojha seems to be aging quite fast on screen. From being seen as the doting sister Veera in 'Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera', the child artiste will play funny man Kiku Sharda’s grandmother in the historical-comedy show 'Akbar Birbal'.
“I had a lot of fun shooting the episode,” says Harshita, adding, “What I found impressive about my character is that I am so dominating that even Emperor Akbar (Kiku) is scared of me.I play the reincarnated avatar of his grandmother. I give him orders and he follows them. I even tell him to separate from his wife Jodha (Delnaaz Irani). He makes me sit on his throne, while he himself sits a level down. His onscreen wife is surprised to see the emperor bowing down to a two-feet girl.”

She will be seen dressed up in ghaghra-choli and will sport a long plait in the show. Ask her if it was difficult to carry the wig and she replies, “Not at all. In fact, I enjoyed it as I love long hair. In real, my hair reaches only till my neck. I enjoyed dressing up on the show.”
